7) Still Chapter Four...

Molly walked through where she last saw Alex, which was through the back. She went and she didn’t see anyone there. So she started calling his name.

“Alex?” She started “Alex, are you here?”

Nothing. So she decided to go back to the party when she heard a soft thump near the pond. She walks over to the pond.
“Alex? Is that you?” She sees him. In his black T-shirt and jeans. He sees her. He was throwing pebbles in the pond.
“Oh, It’s you” Alex said
“Seesh, don’t have to be mean and all” Molly said crossing her hands.

Silence.
Alex just looked at her.

“Fine, I thought I’d come and talk to you or something, I guess it was a huge mistake.” Molly started to storm off back to the party, until Alex caught her wrist.
“No, don’t go. I’m sorry.”
“What’s the matter with you Alex, One minute you’re all mean and acting like a jerk, And the next minute you're all mister nice guy. I don’t get you these days” Molly said
“Molly can’t you see?!”
“You lost me”
“Every one knows Molly, Isn’t it obvious?”
“Now you really lost me”“Molly” He takes her hand. “I’m in love with you”Molly’s eyes widened

“Am I hearing right? This cant be. It can’t be true.
He hates me.Oh, I get it. This is another prank he’s trying to pull.
I can’t believeI almost fell for that.”-Molly thought

“Listen Alex, this is really sick! We’re seventeen for crying out loud.” Pulling away from Alex’s grip.Alex looked confused
“Don’t put that i-don’t-know-anything face on, I’m tired of that. It’s just wrong to play with a girls feelings. You know what, I really thought you would change. I guess I was wrong”
“But Mol-”
“Don’t you but Molly me. You’ll always be jerk huh Alex?”
“Molly would you just hear me out!”
“Why should I huh? So you could call all your friends and have them laugh at me like you always do?!” Alex moved closer towards her and pushes he gently against the wall. Sinks his lips into hers. She hesitates for a second, gives in and she melted into the kiss.
He tasted like beer she thought.

She can’t stop the butterflies in her stomach. The kiss felt real and honest. Maybe he is telling the truth Molly Thought
He pulled away from the kiss. Touches her hair, her cheeks.

“Molly, I’m not joking, I really am in love with you. Ever since we started high school” Alex’s eyes were locked on hers. She can’t help but look back into his eyes and she could tell that he wasn’t lying.

“Well you really have a funny way of showing it.” Molly said looking away.Alex grabs her chin and lifts her head up bring her eyes back to his. He kissed the top of her head
“Hey, I can’t begin to tell you how much I regret doing all that to you. I should have just asked you out like every other guy asked you. Instead I made it into a chick flick where the enemies fall in love with each other. God, I’m so STUPID”

“Well, you hurt me bad last year Alex. But to tell you the truth I had a tiny crush on you too” Molly said
“A tiny? Really Molly, really?” He said lifting her chin higher and put his lips on hers. And then pulls away. “Okay maybe a lot, but all these years wasted, I thought you hated me.”
“I never hated you Molly, Every time I pull a prank on you I feel utterly bad, I’m sorry, somehow, Amber got to me. I kept my feelings cause I thought you hated me after the first few pranks I pulled at you” He’s stroking her hair now
“It’s okay, what’s passed is passed, All that matters is what’s gonna happen next. Wait you said you fell in love with me since High School, What about before that? You really hated me?” Molly said
“That doesn’t count, I was young then, I didn’t really didn’t know what love and a relationship was all about. I was immature then, so it doesn’t count.”
“okay?”
“Come on lets go upstairs”
