“We totally flipped Air Head Amber out!” Courtney almost shouted Both girls looked at her.
“We so totally did girls.” Chloe said
“YeeHaw!” Courtney Shouted
“Okay Molly here’s what you’re gonna have to do” Chloe said to Molly’s ears “Don’t walk up to him, make sure he comes to you. If he flirts you don’t flirt back, instead you talk to him for a while and leave him hanging. Then comes the jealousy part. Make him jealous by dirty dancing with one of the hot guys here. Then when he asks to cut in, you say sure and when he flirts you flirt too and do what you want from there. Got it?” Chloe puts her palm on Molly’s left shoulder.
“Way ahead of ya” Molly winked
“good, okay now’s your chance, Alex is coming this way” Chloe said
“Good luck Molly” Courtney gave her a two thumbs up and they both slipped away.
“Here goes nothing” Molly whispered under her breath. Alex was in front of her now. There was a long pause before Alex spoke.
“Wow Molly, you look amazing”
“You don’t look so bad yourself, just so I’m clear, I came because Chloe forced me. I swear to god I didn’t wanna come here”
“Okay, uh well. You want a beer?” Alex said
“you know I don’t drink Landers now will you excuse me I gotta find my friends.” Molly struts away and did the first step. She left him hanging.
A few minutes into the party Molly was having punch and she was laughing and giggling with the school’s lacrosse team captain Samuel Laurent. He’s tall and very handsome, deep brown eyes, dark brown hair and he was wearing A long sleeved white T-Shirt and worn out jeans.
“So you’re in my English class? How come I don’t see you much in class?” Molly asked pretending that she didn’t notice him in her English class. She looks side ways and saw Alex looking at them.
“yeah, I was actually your partner for the Movie assignment, a few months back.”
“That was you? Oh I’m sorry”
Sam mumbles and looks down at his feet.
“What?”
“Care for a dance?” Sam offered her a hand
“Sure why not.” It’s about time she thought then she takes his hand
So the song Buttons by The Pussycat Dolls was on.
“Just the perfect song” Molly thought Then she started doing the second step, Jealousy. She started dancing to the music. She was dancing like Nicole Scherzinger on a poll. Except the poll was James. Everyone was circling them now. She glanced at a side and saw Chloe putting two thumbs up. Glanced at the other side and saw Alex.
To her surprise she saw his eyes sad and hurt. He looks down and walks away. She felt bad the first time ever for Alex. Well a few more times before but this time he looked seriously hurt. Maybe I’m going too far with this dancing. She thought. Then slowly she stops dancing and she smoothes out her dress.
Then the song changed to You Are Not Alone by Michael Jackson, and Sam pulled her close to him. She accepts it. But for some reason she doesn’t feel right. She kept on glancing around the place to find Alex. But he was no where to be seen.
“Uh. Molly, Are you alright?” Sam said
“huh? What? Yeah I’m alright. Just got a few things up in my head.”
“Oh, Okay” Sam said They kept dancing until two minutes into the song. Molly said
"James, could you excuse me for a while?”
“Uh…sure” Sam lets her go.
“Thanks.”
“Where is Molly going?” Courtney said
“Courtney, chillax. You don’t have to watch every step of what she’s doing, We’ll hear about it later tonight anyway. Go have fun”
“It’s fun watching her. Really”
“Courtney would you just go and do something else? Oh Sam Williams was looking at you just now. I think he likes you”
“Really”
“Yeah, go talk to him. Go! Go! Go!” Chloe pushes Courtney.
